Well, what is there to say? I am just a normal person. The only real difference is, I run a blog.
I started writing at a young age. Mostly just as an outlet for mental health. As the internet continued to develop, I joined the Xanga and MySpace nonsense of blogging.
I miss that, even though I still write. I think there is something very therapeutic about being open and vulnerable with the thoughts and emotions. I think being able to write about things that others may be able to relate to gives us a sense of connection.
Too often, we can feel isolated in this world. It’s kind of ironic, considering the internet ultimately brought us all together. However, it’s still so easy. I wouldn’t doubt some of it is thanks to things like Facebook which thrives on dividing us even more. On top of this, we’re all so glued to our electronic devices, myself included.
There’s also something very therapeutic about being somewhat anonymous while being able to bare who we really are.
So, there you have it. I’m just a normal person, running a blog. I started this with no intention of it ever really being anything for anyone, other than myself. If you found it, you’re either really lucky, or regretting it. Either way, stick around, or don’t. The choice is yours.
You can agree with me or not, it won’t phase me one bit. I’m not writing this for you. I am writing this for me. I am choosing to do this for myself. If I offend you, I’ll apologize now. I use this to vent, to voice my opinion, and to just clean out the clutter in my mind. You are free to leave comments if you create an account. I just ask you be respectful. If you disagree with me regarding something I post, that’s perfectly fine. However, there is no need to be an ass about anything. At the end of the day, we’re all humans. We’re all in this together. We all are trying to figure things out.
